I Am a Teacher Just Like You, and I Found a Better Way to Teach Languages.

I Want to Share This with You!

Almost every book and language curriculum is based on teaching grammar structure and vocabulary lists.

Units cover a topic like "the doctor," and they give you a vocabulary list and a grammatical topic to cover.

This is a model for teaching language that doesn't encourage communication and fluency.

Most parents and kids want to be able to speak and understand a second language. They want to be able to use the language with other people who also speak it.

At Language Mindset, we prioritize communication over grammar and vocabulary memorization. We use language in context through engaging stories instead of vocabulary lists. We encourage kids to speak the language from day one without being afraid to make mistakes because we are not using grammar and vocabulary assessments to measure progress.

Get Your Kids Excited to Learn Languages

I am a language teacher just like you.

I found a strategy that WORKS! I'd love to share it with you.

I am a language teacher who was so frustrated with the typical, boring, grammar-based curriculum. I wondered why kids in certain countries can speak multiple languages but most kids where I live only ever learn the language they are born with.

After teaching myself nine languages and living abroad, I saw the need for more kids to believe in—and actually achieve—fluency. That’s why I created a fun, story-based way for kids to start speaking from day one. Through our classes and my Salt, Pepper & Sunny book series, my mission is simple: to help kids grow into confident, fearless speakers who see language as an adventure.

If you want to ditch the boring grammar-based curriculum and learn about my proven methods to help kids learn languages fast let's talk!

Disclaimer

This program is designed to support and enrich children’s language learning through story-based content, audio exposure, reading, and speaking practice. While our approach is designed to make language learning engaging and accessible for children ages 6–12, individual results may vary.

Language acquisition depends on many factors, including a child’s age, interest level, consistency of practice, and prior exposure to the language. Progress and outcomes are not guaranteed, and no specific level of fluency is promised within a set timeframe.

References to children saying their “first words” in a new language are intended to describe early exposure and guided repetition, not mastery or long-term proficiency.

This program is not a replacement for formal schooling, accredited language instruction, speech therapy, special education services, or English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) intervention.

All speaking activities and student-created videos are shared within a private, moderated community accessible only to enrolled members, with parental consent required for participation. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their child’s use of the program and community features.

By enrolling, parents acknowledge that progress depends on participation and practice, and that outcomes will vary from child to child.
